Recycling and rubbish collections

On average, people in the UK now produce seven times their own weight in waste as year! But fortunately for those of us living in Bristol the council are recycling and composting 39% of our waste.

It is also incredibly easy to recycle each house or flat should have a black box for paper, cans and glass and a brown food waste box. You can also recycle cardboard by putting it next to the food waste bin on collection day. Plastic recycling can be taken to a number of sites around the city.

For more information about what you can recycle and how visit http://www.bristol.gov.uk/ccm/navigation/environment-and-planning/recycling--rubbish-and-waste/
