LOVE FOOD HATE WASTE

Bristol City Council are helping to push the campaign to encourage us all to become more aware about the food we are wasting. 6.7 million tonnes of food is thrown away by households in the UK every year having a huge impact on the environment, and on our pockets.

The Love Food Hate Waste campaign claims that if we all stop wasting food that could have been eaten, the CO2 impact would be the equivalent of taking 1 in 5 cars off the road.

So by reducing our food waste we can:

save money and help the environment
